SUMMARY
Responsible for assuring that our core retentions have an uninterrupted flow through our shop floor operations. Focus is to process all core retention products according to our production schedule as per customer commitments. Closely monitor production output and performance. Report and recommend adjustments as needed. Interact daily with Hardware Production Personnel/Management, Purchasing, Quality, Inventory Management, and external Suppliers. This position is critical to meeting company’s on-time delivery goals, revenue projections, Quality standards, customer requirements and supporting company’s growth worldwide.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assist in receiving of parts from supplier and verify count according to purchase orders- Wash, engrave, spray, assemble, label, package core retention products
- Assist shipping department in packaging for collets and housing
- Assist with deliveries and pickups from our various vendors
- Arrange for shipment and movement of components according to PO and MO requirements.
- Verify count of incoming/outgoing shipments and resolve any discrepancies with Purchasing, Hardware Management, and suppliers.
- Review backlog and prepare shipments according to promised ship dates.
- Prioritize Q.C. inspection for both in-house production and inbound shipments from external suppliers.
- Report any discrepancies or non-conforming issues that impact on-time deliveries.
- Create and distribute manufacturing order packages. Incorporate any special instructions or requirements as requested by customer or other authorized personnel.
- Assist in inventory counts of hardware components, compare to GP records and submit adjustments as necessary including materials consumed outside GP system, i.e. items used for R&D, testing, samples.
- Actively participate and contribute to launching of new scheduling, barcoding software, and tools.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience working in an operating machinery environment.
- Good mechanical and assembly skills and able to follow procedures and instructions.
- Thorough knowledge of manufacturing processes, required resources, cycle and queue times.
- Demonstrate excellent analytical and organizational skills while multi-tasking.
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills; ability to communicate professionally with personnel at all levels of the organization.
- Strong interpersonal skills in fostering team-oriented relationships with all cross functional groups.
- Proficient with MS Office Suite.
- Record of achievement, dependability, integrity, and ethics in performing a broad scope of responsibilities.
