The Independent Testing and Validation Team is seeking a Lead Independent Testing Officer to support the IT&V Technology, COO, Customer Remediation, Emerging Risk, and Data (TCRED) testing and validation team. Specifically, this individual will be supporting the Customer Remediation and Emerging Risk (CRER) Analytics, Reporting, and Data Testing Team (ARDT). In this position, the individual will serve as the lead data testing resource, coordinating analytical support with both the Customer Remediation Validation and Emerging Risk teams. This position will report to the ARDT Senior Manager within the TCRED team.

In this role, you will:

Responsibilities of the Officer role include, but are not limited to:
  • Successfully lead and manage multiple projects across a wide array of highly complex subject areas (e.g. supporting Emerging Risk and CR team) while ensuring high quality outcomes are achieved and effectively communicated to management
  • Develop, implement, and manage process to provide review and credible challenge to work products completed by other analytic resources on the team
  • Partner with analytic and business resources to navigate large, complex technology environments
  • Review and perform detailed code reviews, identifying anomalies and other potential data quality concerns
  • Utilize advanced data analytics skills and specialized knowledge to independently research issues relating to data integrity driving to root cause
  • Partner with CRER team members to educate them on the data received and design strategies to analyze the data including creation of data subsets or calculated fields
  • Document data acquisition procedures performed and summarize relevant system access
  • Building relationships and collaborating with key stakeholders in the applicable line of business and IT&V functions.
Required Qualifications, US:
  • 5+ years of Independent Testing experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
  • Technology experience with any of the following: SQL, SAS, Toad, PowerShell, VBA, DAX, etc.
  • Experience gathering, analyzing and interpreting large datasets
  • Strong ability to retrieve data from various information systems
  • Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, achieve goals, and work under pressure in a dynamic and complex environment
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to take on a high level of responsibility, initiative, and accountability
  • Ability to summarize and recommend new strategies/solutions.
  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong ability to research, trend, and analyze data.
  • Ability to effectively communicate, verbal and written, with various levels of management, including senior leaders and executives.
  • Experience in Audit, Compliance, Risk and Testing
  • Critical Thinking and Analytical skills
