Our client is a well-established food distributor in Redlands. They are in need of a Logistics/Shipping Coordinator that is bilingual in Tagalog. The Logistics coordinator will be communicating with food manufactures in the Philippines to coordinate shipments. Ideal candidate will have experience with supply chain and strong warehouse shipping experience.Duties
- Excellent communication skills with manufacturing plants in the Philippines
- Facilitate the shipping of products from one destination to another
- Arrange transportation and orchestrate deliveries to meet customer demand with little to no delay
- Receives products and coordinates delivery
- Prepares loads documentation for shipment
- Manages activities throughout the order fulfilment and transportation cycle to make sure established deadlines are met
- Oversees inventory of goods and vehicles
- Continually reviews freight costs, transportation rates.
- Streamlines shipping and transportation processes
- Assist Operations Manager on daily tasks
- Five years of supply chain experience
- Five years of WAREHOUSE SHIPPING experience
- Proficient with Microsoft Office
- Familiar with SAGE
- SPS Commerce
