Shift: 12 hr shifts - every other weekend off! Needing night shift

We are looking for reliable LPN's to care for our patients in a professional and considerate manner. Nurse professionals must be first and foremost qualified and compassionate. The ideal candidate will be providing diverse basic care to those who need it while remaining patient and calm. It is a demanding job but also very rewarding

Job Description and Responsibilities in part;

• The most basic responsibility is to ensure that all team members are adhering to the facilities dedication of promoting the best plan of care for all residents.
• The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) must maintain the flow of the hall in a respectful, professional manner for both the team members and the residents.
• Have complete and accurate charting.
• Must Be Willing to work the floor.
• Must attend all meetings set forth by the Director of Nursing, Administrator and/or Nurse Consultant.
• Professional demeanor with Doctors, Clinics and other professionals.
• Clear communication with all department managers.
• Make daily rounds of the unit to ensure that all unit personnel are performing their work assignments in accordance with acceptable nursing standards. Report findings to the Director.
• Develop and maintain a good working rapport with inter-unit personnel, as well as other departments within the facility to ensure that nursing services and activities can be adequately maintained to meet the needs of the patients.
• Create and maintain an atmosphere of warmth, personal interest and positive emphasis, as well as a calm environment throughout the unit and shift.

Must possess a valid LPN license - NEW GRADS WELCOME
