Machinist: Experienced Machinist for growing HDPE (Plastics) custom fabrication shop located in Fairfield, Idaho.
Qualified applicants must be:
- Leveraged strong subject matter expertise in the set up and operation of CNC tools to perform a wide range of CNC milling functions. Maintained a highly productive atmosphere by managing and maintaining machines for optimal use. Ensure strict alignment with equipment safety protocols, achieve ISO standards, and perform detailed inspections.
- Skilled in setting up and operating manual lathes and mills by adjusting and installing chucks, tools, gears, stops, and other attachments.
- Boring, reaming, turning, milling, drilling, tapping, etc.
- Ensure the highest level of detail and accuracy while setting up, running, monitoring, and maintaining tooling during all job runs; ensure proper job tracking and recording.
- Machine programming/reprogramming, and equipment controls/instrumentation. Solid written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in math.
- Basic computer skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform repetitive tasks.
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
You will be working on a variety of machines (CNC Router table, manual lathes, etc.) which perform a variety of operations.
