Job Opportunity
Maintenance & Labourer - This employee will be responsible to assist the Public Works Team in maintaining our municipal buildings and infrastructure. This infrastructure will include water and sewer facilities, municipal streets, sidewalks, storm drains, garbage removal, municipal buildings, and other infrastructure. The normal hours of the position will be 8am-5pm Monday – Friday. However, the employee will work some early mornings for garbage removal, and evenings and weekends depending on after hour calls, snow removal, etc.
Compensation: $16.00-$19.00 per hour * Candidate will be eligible to participate in our full benefit plan upon successful completion of their probationary period (health benefits, pension plan, insurance). * A complimentary Active Living Fitness Centre membership

Minimal Job Requirements:
Education: Minimum Grade 12 will be required. However, the following would be preferred: Related trade certificate, degree, or diploma.
Expectations: The successful candidate should have a snow removal, equipment operation, equipment maintenance, be willing to work labour intensive jobs, be willing to learn new skills, and must be able to work well in a team environment.
Salaries: $16.00-$19.00 per hour.
