PMP Personnel Services is partnered with a Manufacturing client in Bellaire, MI who is actively looking to hire a qualified individual for a Maintenance Mechanic

Maintenance Mechanic Benefits:

Maintenance Mechanic Responsibilities:

• Execute daily requests to repair and troubleshoot equipment
• Perform basic electrical and plumbing repairs
• Understand and correct PLC related issues
• Install, adjust, and help certify new equipment
• Record all transactions accurately and free of errors
• Accomplish all assignments in a timely manner while employing good safety practices
• Available to work overtime and weekends

Maintenance Mechanic Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years maintenance experience in manufacturing environment
• Mechanical certification or equivalent experience desired
• Background in hydraulics, electrical, and welding

Pay: From $17.78 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Overtime
• Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Bellaire, MI: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience:

• Programmable logic controllers: 1 year (Preferred)
• Mechanical knowledge: 1 year (Preferred)

Willingness to travel:

• 25% (Preferred)
