As the Manager, Operations Excellence, you’ll be responsible for developing and executing improvement initiatives to the XPO Logistics Last Mile Division. You’ll focus on continuous improvement, culture, organizational excellence and process excellence while partnering with Last Mile hubs and dedicated locations, adding value for customers and continuing to develop organizational capability.

What you’ll do on a typical day:

• Drive processes and workforce planning standardization across the Last Mile Network, including warehouse & product flow, workforce scheduling, routing and route monitoring, escalations management and abatement, claims, facility design and layout, material handling equipment, staffing structure, strategy, and organizational design
• Align on specific KPIs that drive operational efficiencies and improve the customer experience
• Define measurement targets and establish control plans to ensure compliance
• Key deliverables to include scorecard development focused on key operational, financial and quality metric, control audit and RCCA (Rout cause, corrective action) implementation and training a certification program tracking

What you need to succeed at RXO:

At a minimum, you’ll need:

• 4 years of managerial/supervisory experience
• Experience leading complex large-scale, multisite and or multiregional projects
• Strong Fluency user of Windows applications and Microsoft Office programs such as MS Project, Word, Excel and PowerPoint

It’d be great if you also have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Supply Chain, Engineering or related field
• 7 to 10 years of progressive experience in supply chain operations or project management
• Excellent negotiation skills to deal effectively with individuals and groups within and outside the organization
