Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the planning, preparation and coordination of quarterly conference calls.
    • Assist in the preparation of earnings scripts, press releases, earnings decks, investor Q&A and related materials.
    • Work closely with executive team to prepare for earnings calls, conferences, non-deal roadshows, and other industry events.
    • Prepare updates on shareholder base changes, stock price performance and industry trends.
    • Work closely with Corporate Communications to ensure coordination and development of messaging.
  • Manage investor marketing program.
    • Assist in the execution of an investor targeting program that maintains strong relationships with shareholders/analysts, and educates the pipeline of potential shareholders and sell-side analysts.
    • Leverage data analytics and software platforms to execute an investor targeting program.
    • Own the tracking and reporting of the targeting program.
    • Plan non-deal roadshows and investor events that further the company’s targeting goals.
    • Research and prepare pre-meeting materials and agenda prior to investor meetings and roadshows.
    • Respond to investor and analyst inquiries within the context of Reg FD.
    • Monitor sell-side research, maintain consensus estimates and manage a working model for the company.
    • Manage IR database to keep records of investor contacts and interactions.
  • Support the Company's investor marketing and communications program.
    • Manage the IR calendar, coordinate conferences, site visits, non-deal roadshows and other events.
    • Draft materials for investor events.
    • Plan and execute investor days.
    • Manage MSA’s IR website, including regular content updates.
    • Partner with cross-functional teams to create and review content for MSA’s Annual Report and Sustainability Report.
  • Prepare market and competitive intelligence presentations. Follow industry and economic trends.
    • Drive competitive analysis process to provide frequent and thorough reviews of MSA’s financial and strategic positioning relative to peers.
    • Stay informed regarding economic landscape and industry trends; work cross functionally to evaluate potential impact on MSA’s performance and shape related communications.
    • Help Finance be a strategic partner to the Company by building awareness of financial goals and commitments.
Qualifications:
  • Strong business acumen, a deep understanding of capital markets, financial modeling and financial statement analysis.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience writing scripts, press releases, and creating investor marketing materials is required.
  • Ability to synthesize large amounts of information to communicate complex topics in a clear manner.
  • Expert knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Level one (Manager) - 7+ years’ experience in investor relations for a publicly traded company, equity research, investment banking or related discipline.
  • Level two (Senior Manager) - 9+ years’ experience in investor relations for a publicly traded company, equity research, investment banking or related discipline.
