SPA's Maritime Division provides timely, objective, analytic assessments, strategic planning, and expert operational, technical and acquisition support to the Undersea and Surface Warfare communities, and related agencies and partners. We play key roles in providing the insights and strategies to address current and emerging challenges to our national security. We have tremendous impact in assisting our clients to achieve success on their most important issues and programs within the constraints of the budget environment.

The Naval Surface Warfare Analysis Group (NSWAG), within Maritime Division focuses primarily on providing analytic and program support to the Surface Warfare component of the United States Navy, enabling enhanced decision-making regarding the allocation of resources to improve operational capabilities. This support includes personnel, manpower, training and education support to OPNAV N1, including Navy Recruiting Command, Millington, TN.

SPA has an immediate need for a Marketing Analyst in Millington, TN. #CJ #IN123
Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will 1) Be able to help create and support annual marketing plan, brand positioning, advertising development and execution, media planning and buying, sales and promotional programs, as well as public relations, and 2) Ensure marketing and advertising projects are executed to meet both timelines and visions of Commander, Navy Recruiting Command. Projects include media buying, event execution, national booth and conference expos, and creative oversight and value analysis of proposals.

A hybrid work schedule, approximately half time, is possible.
Qualifications:
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, statistics, business, law, engineering, social sciences, physical/applied science, or management discipline such as business administration, accounting, finance, economics or management information technology
  • 5 to 7 years of relevant work experience in data or statistical analysis, or business process improvement
  • Experience developing Navy marketing strategies
  • Experience developing, implementing, managing, or evaluating Navy military or civilian manpower or personnel
  • Secret clearance or the ability to obtain a Secret clearance, and the ability to maintain it throughout employment

Desired Qualifications:
  • Knowledge of the Navy Recruiting process
  • Experience with marketing product development for executive level leadership approval.
