Title: Master Data Analyst

Summary: The Master Data Analyst drives data integrity through the implementation and maintenance of master data structures that are quality, compliant, and consistently utilized. Works closely with functional data owners and internal business partners to optimize master data systems and strategies.
Essential Functions:
Serves as primary resource in data management governance that results in consistent, quality master data that meets business and industry rules and requirements. Provides MDM leadership to other functional data owners to define and maintain parameters for integrity and security. Includes ongoing development, maintenance, and communication about master data definitions, processes, and updates.
Monitors and analyzes master data for inconsistencies and anomalies. Identifies areas for data quality improvements and resolves issues through the appropriate choice of error detection and correction, process control and improvement, or process design strategies. Uses proven strategies to advise on master data management solutions that enhance business system capabilities.
Collaborates with internal business partners on cross-functional projects that implement master data structures to support business functionalities and reporting. Assist team members with day-to-day activities and troubleshooting within Master Data. Applies knowledge of cross-functional impact in data management strategies.
Serves as the subject matter expert in performing ad-hoc master data analysis. Assists with special projects addressing master data improvements and/or maintenance; develops reports for use in master data audits or other reporting.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Supply Chain, or related field OR five plus years of equivalent Master Data Management experience.
- 1-3 years of progressive experience in Master Data Management (MDM), Data Governance, Data Quality domains and/or MDM tools
- Experience with data profiling, data cleansing, fuzzy matching, Customer/Product/Supplier hierarchy management
- SAP experience; SAP enrichment files and terminology; data analysis projects; reporting tools
- Proficient in MS Office Suite, Advanced Excel incl. pivot table/vlookup/data analysis
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment with all levels of the company
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree
- Experience in a manufacturing and/or food processing environment
- Strong SAP experience; focus on planning
Supervisory Responsibility: No supervisory responsibilities required.
Work Environment: 100% Remote work with occasional trips to the office as needed.
Physical Demands: This position would be primarily sitting with little to no lifting or other physical demands.
Position Type: Exempt, 1st shift.
Travel: Some travel may be required in this position to assist in other facilities. (Less than 5%)
