Central Maine Eye Care, a Covenant Physician Partner, is hiring a PRN Medical Assistant to join our team in Lewiston, Maine.
About the Opportunity
The Medical Assistant will perform visual acuity measurements, maintain exam rooms, assist with contact lens fitting, provide patient instructions, and assist with surgical procedures on an as-needed basis.
The hours for this position are 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, Monday through Friday. We are not open weekends or holidays.
About the Candidate
Minimum Requirements:
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
- Current BLS certification or the ability to obtain upon hire
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience as an Ophthalmic Assistant or in the medical field is strongly preferred
