Lincoln Hospital and Clinics is hiring an experienced Medical Billing Clerk in Davenport, Washington. Davenport is located 35 miles from Spokane and only 30 minutes from Lake Roosevelt Recreation Area. We are a community of care givers delivering every day on our mission to provide compassionate and personalized care that is accessible for all. Billing Clerks who work at our facility interact with a variety of patients and develop stronger relationships with patients.

The Billing Clerk is responsible for the timely and accurate submission of technical and/or professional medical claims to insurance companies and payers such as Medicare and Medicaid. This position works directly with the insurance company, healthcare provider, and patient to get claims processed and paid. The Billing Clerk must be able to effectively communicate with all stakeholders involved with medical claims.

Job Requirements: – High School Graduate or GED – Previous experience working in a medical office—Previous medical billing experience – Experience working in electronic claims submission software – Experience working electronic medical records—Knowledge of Medicaid and Medicare

Pay: $16.69 - $23.95 per hour
