Overview:Travel Team Medical Director, Full or Part Time for Adult Outpatient Treatment Centers in Presque Isle et al
Discovery House Northern Maine seeking Medical Director for our MATprogram patients in a highly specialized, and quality-focused environment to their diverse and dynamic team.
The Medical Director is responsible for leadership, quality assurance, oversight and overall medical management of the clinic within the boundaries of state and federal regulations and accreditation standards. Responsibilities include planning, organizing medical and clinical practices, providing direct patient care and assisting other departments with direct interactions with physicians or medical staff.
Addiction Medicine Medical Director to provide 8-10 hours of treatment care and leadership to our team at the Presque Isle CTC. If this physician would like to work more than 1-2 days in Presque Isle we have other opportunities in Waterville, ME for an additonal 2 days per week.
The Physician is responsible for the provision of medical services to patients include prescribing, dispensing and administration of medication for the treatment of substance abuse and leads the clinical team of NP/PA's. Responsible for medical management of patients at all levels of care provided by the clinic. Conduct complete physicals, provide treatment and counsel to patients. Provides medical oversight to the nursing department under the guidance of the Medical Director and Clinic Director.
