You are a member of our upper management team in the store and are responsible for upholding the Simons standard for merchandising, visual presentation and customer service throughout the area of the store that will be assigned to you.

You are in charge of an exceptional team of Divisional Managers that you will train, develop and supervise. You play a crucial role in their development regarding their competency and performance for the merchandising and customer service aspects of their job. You are their mentor and colleague. Some of the other responsibilities include: personnel scheduling, ensuring the understanding and compliance to the Simons unique approach to merchandising and visual presentation, price management such as markdowns and special promotions, sign management and inventory control. Finally, you set the example for all members of the Simons team in promoting our unwavering commitment to the highest level of customer service, a tradition and a privilege for our Canadian, family-owned company since 1840.

You have excellent organizational skills and a proven ability to set priorities, problem-solve, multi-task and adapt quickly. You have the mental and physical energy required to work in a fast paced environment. You have the proven ability to be able to evaluate product presentation in order to provide insight and ideas to your team. You have strong teaching and coaching skills that enable you to build a team for excellence. Lastly you have a passion for business, excellent customer service and fashion.

Experience in product merchandising, visual presentation, personnel scheduling and team supervision in the field of fashion retailing is a significant asset.

A Bachelor degree or equivalent experience is required.


Candidates must be able to communicate in the official language of the province of the Simons store for which they are applying.
