MyMichigan Health is looking for a dedicated NP/PA to join an established psychiatry practice in Midland, MI! This fantastic opportunity is located on the hospital campus in Midland. There will be both inpatient and outpatient responsibilities, with the majority of this role focused on the outpatient practice. Outpatient work includes new and established patient visits, follow-up visits for medication management and therapy, and both in-person and virtual encounters. Inpatient includes rounding on the mental health unit. There will be a weekend rotation (one weekend per month) included in the schedule. No call requirements at this time but holidays may be required if they fall on your assigned weekend. This provider must be comfortable with providing Medication Assisted Therapy and there is an opportunity for remote workdays.The APP will be working alongside five established physicians and two physician assistants and one nurse practitioner with a wide range of experience. The supervising physicians are located on site, and position is open to both new and experienced applicants.
MyMichigan Health has an excellent mentorship program for all incoming NP/PA providers. You will be assigned a mentor to navigate, at minimum, your first year of employment.
