RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Support the development of leading strategies and programs to reinforce our culture and enhance organizational effectiveness including Leadership Development, Hospital wide and Management Orientation, Onboarding, Core Curriculum, Recognition Programs, Performance Planning & Development and Employee Engagement.
  • Provide organizational development guidance, advisory, and strategic consultative services to support leaders and teams.
  • Work closely with key stakeholders to plan, develop and implement strategic initiatives using best practices in change and transition support and innovative learning modalities
  • Conduct on-going needs assessment to identify organizational learning needs and enhance employee, physician and volunteer engagement.
  • Act as a resource to the HR team to complete OD interventions (including diagnosing of issues, facilitation of team-building exercises, conflict resolution, etc.).
  • Develop and implement project plans for new Organizational Development & Learning programs
  • Monitor project plans to ensure milestones and timelines are achieved and ensure that resources identified within projects are apprised of their responsibilities.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Post-secondary degree. Post-graduate degree, certificate or diploma in Adult Education, Organizational Behaviour or Organizational Development preferred.
  • Minimum of five (5) years' experience in organizational development, learning and development, or human resources; Hospital experience is an asset.
  • Highly developed understanding of methodologies and approaches for adult learning, leadership development, change management, project management, performance management, and employee engagement
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills to effectively build relationships and interact with others at all levels in the organization.
  • Strong consulting and advisory skills; well-developed facilitation and presentation skills.
  • Excellent written (including compositional and editing) and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience managing projects from conception to implementation.
  • Ability to conduct research and condense complex information into succinct reports or briefing notes/proposals
  • Strong time management, planning and organizational skills to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to deal with competing, challenging, and changing priorities.
  • Experience with and/or knowledge of technology enabled learning and learning management systems required.
  • Advanced capability in office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
