Analyst role positioned in Raleigh on the Control Services team within the Operations Control & Risk (OC&R) Department. Our mission is to provide valuable services & continuous improvements through effective delivery, monitoring of key controls & risk projects to help support risk mitigation across Global Operations. The Analyst will be a member of the Americas team, which shares colleagues across the world (New York, London, Switzerland, Singapore, and Pune).

The applicant will serve as a representative for key risk projects by establishing requirements, providing innovative & control-minded ideas, and collaborating with key partners to drive and implement efficient strategic solutions, all while communicating status updates to senior management.

  • Perform the SEC Rule 17a-13 Quarterly Security Count to manage risk by advising, supporting, & challenging those who are accountable for the associated financial, reputational, & regulatory risks of the firm
  • Educate, challenge, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements; face off with internal & external auditors on audit reviews and exams
  • Spearhead Security User Access projects to provide risk identification, remediation plans, and implementation for strengthened User Access controls and/or to meet regulatory commit
  • Promote improved risk awareness and control within Global Operations, with appropriate alignment to bank-wide standards

Your skills and experience


We are looking for highly motivated applicants with a degree in Finance, Business, or other field with interest to work in the Financial Industry.

  • Ability to communicate optimally at all levels, and to articulate complex operational risk issues in a structured, targeted, concise, and impactful manner
  • Creative, controlled, strategic, and inquisitive approach to question status quo, analyze & research problems, and provide solutions / ideas to resolve
  • Delivery focused and inventive with a proven track record to efficiently identify resources and complete tasks at a high standard
  • Excellent attention to detail with the ability to prepare, maintain, and collate documentation for regulatory requirements
  • Highly proactive individual who consistently maintains a positive outlook towards accepting challenges
  • Intermediate PowerPoint & Excel required as baseline skills (advanced skills preferred)
