Rosin Eyecare has been in Chicagoland area for more than 80 years. As it was with our very first eye center, our dedicated Chicago eye doctors and staff are committed to keeping your eyes healthy, giving you the best possible vision and superior patient care. Rosin Eyecare is a 60 doctor Optometry/ophthalmology practice, with 50 offices across the greater Chicago area. We provide full service eye care including routine eye care, specialty contact lenses, chronic & acute disease management and surgical co-management. We are also the premier destination for Laser Vision Correction in Chicago.


What we’re looking for:
We have an available position for an Ophthalmic Technician to work between Downers Grove and La Grange offices. This position will be full-time with benefits. Must be able to work occasional Saturdays and must have reliable transportation to travel between offices when needed.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Conduct preliminary patient interviews and record relevant data such as chief complaint, health history, medications, and allergies for the physician’s review.
  • Prepare patient and exam rooms for all procedures and provide assistance to physicians for procedures.
  • Check visual acuity for distance and near
  • Responsible for maintaining medical supply and equipment inventory.
  • Accurately performs: Lensometry, Tonometry, Refractometry and Visual Acuity
  • Assist physicians as required and perform all other duties as assigned.
  • Perform necessary testing such as OCT, visual field, fundus photos/Optos, topography, IOL master and many more!
