Physical Requirements
Lifting,pushing and/or pulling objects up to 50 lbs, standing or walking with objects up to 25 lbs, able to work heights above 4 feet and climb stairs.
Shift
Monday-Friday 7:30 am-3:45 pm (37.5 hours/week), additional hours may be required for student move in and out and to meet departmental needs.
Job Summary
Provide painting services in Campus Housing facilities managed by Auxiliary Services. Some job responsibilities include, but not limited to determining materials needed to complete painting requests; executing pre-painting activities including cleaning, scraping, sanding, patching, caulking and masking surfaces prior to painting; painting interior/exterior surfaces as requested; cleaning up after the job is complete; ensuring requests were completed efficiently and accurately while providing excellent customer service in a professional manner. The candidate must be willing to perform other duties as needed to support the overall mission of Auxiliary Services, work on special projects such as Big Blue Move-in and be willing to occasionally work after hours when called for emergencies.
