Summary

Procurement Services manages a diverse selection of goods and services, offering the university community key business services including procurement, travel, expense reconciliation, space analysis, property control, property disposition, and printing, copying, and mailing services.

The University of Michigan's PCard program is a procurement tool designed to streamline the purchasing process and improve efficiency in purchasing goods, services, and travel. The program provides PCards to authorized individuals, allowing them to make purchases on behalf of the university.

PCard Program Coordinator supports the PCard program's daily operations. The team also supports several vendor payment programs. We are seeking a positive and adaptable individual with a strong desire to succeed in a team-oriented and customer-focused environment. This position can be in person, hybrid, or primarily remote but is occasionally required to be on-site and must be able to commute to Ann Arbor when required.

Responsibilities*

  • Provide exceptional and timely customer service through the ticketing system, TeamDynamix
  • Perform daily tasks supporting the PCard program, including card issuance, limit increases, and account management
  • Perform daily tasks supporting Procurement vendor payment programs
  • Give guidance and support to customers on program policies and procedures
  • Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and customers to ensure efficient and effective program operations

Required Qualifications*

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to critically analyze information and exercise good judgment
  • Proficiency with standard office computer applications (i.e. Microsoft Office, Google)
  • Associate's degree in business administration or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience

Desired Qualifications*

  • Experience supporting purchasing card programs
  • Knowledge of U-M financial and expense practices and processes
  • Experience using a customer service ticketing system

Work Schedule

This is a full-time position; Monday through Friday. As part of the University of Michigan Finance Division Future of Work initiative, this position may work onsite, remote, or hybrid (both onsite work and remotely) based on the business needs of the unit.
