Aspirus is currently seeking a PHARMACY TECHNICIAN in Medford, Wisconsin to work in the Retail Medical Center Pharmacy at Aspirus Medford Hospital.

Under the supervision of the Pharmacy Services Director, Lead Pharmacy Technician and Pharmacists, shall assist in carrying out all Pharmacy policies and procedures, in the preparation and distribution of medications, and in the accurate recording of patient information, drug information, and cost/charge information in accordance with the State and Federal laws regulating such personnel.

Hours: FULL TIME or 1.0 FTE, 80 hours every 2 weeks. Day shift ranging from 7:30am – 4:00pm and 9:30am – 6:00pm

Experience/Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent is required.
• Graduate of accredited technical school and current Pharmacy Technician certification is preferred.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English is required.
• Previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician with a minimum of one year experience is preferred. Pharmacy Technician certification within 1 year of hire is required.
