The Functional Expert Analyst position provides operational and analytical support for the Supply Chain
organization. This support includes: first level of user support, analysis of functional information, problem
identification, testing of new functionality, providing ad hoc reports and implementing new solutions. The
Analyst also supports the Functional Expert (FE) managers in delivery of business benefits, technical
analysis, monitoring of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), education of the end user community and
monitoring data integrity and compliance to governance standards within the Deliver organization.

What are we looking for?

Minimum:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Supply Chain Managment, Information Systems or equivalent Experience OR 3-4 years experience working in supply chain operations such as Plan, Source, Make & Deliver
  • High systems literacy (not just specific system skills, but also tools like, MS Office etc.)
  • Understanding of SAP and deep understanding of the related system processes
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills (oral, written, listening)
  • Good problem solving skills, and process change management ability
  • Ability to identify information needs/solve problems (technical and business related)
  • Service oriented attitude
  • Works well under tight time-frames

Preferred

  • Moderate experience SAP, WMS, and/or FDS

What will be your key responsibilities?

  • Act as an integral member of the Supply Chain Excellence organization in the support of the user community, facilitating the improvement of business processes and results.
  • Execute slot testing of all CIP and scope lines in a timely and accurate manner, in partnership with FE.
  • Monitor incident calls and act as the first point of contact for business users in troubleshooting functional and technical issues.
  • Analyze problems and determine next steps, i.e. provide resolution or progress to FEs and operational teams.
  • Ensure the accurate consolidation and reporting of information into the requested actionable format and investigate any data discrepancies.
  • Design, publish and provide insights on key metrics reporting used to assess the health of the system.
  • Responsible for maintaining technical skill on all appropriate software applications that will provide optimum level of support to the Key User community (i.e. Atlas, Mercury, Apollo, etc.).
  • Provide project management support or ad hoc support when needed.
