Job Summary:

We are seeking experienced Siemens PLC Programmer to join our industrial team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing detailed electrical and control designs, PLC programming, commissioning, and tech support for our client’s projects. The candidate should have a solid understanding of programming, automation and controls principles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop detailed electrical and control drawings for industrial systems, including PLC logic, HMI design, electrical schematics, network diagrams, and wiring diagrams.
  • Handle Siemens PLC programming and troubleshooting for control systems, including but not limited to designing and implementing new PLC code and modifying and troubleshooting existing programs.
  • Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and clients to solve various technical issues that arise during different stages of projects.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to clients on the installation, setup, and operation of control system components.
  • Develop testing and quality assurance plans for control systems to ensure that they are functioning as intended.
  • Ensure the timely completion of projects and provide regular updates on project progress to team members.
  • Participate in continuous learning and development activities to stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Computer or Mechanical Engineering, or a related field OR minimum of 3 years of experience in Siemens PLC programming and troubleshooting for industrial applications.
  • Good knowledge of automation and control principles, including PLC programming, HMI design, SCADA systems and coding.
  • Proven experience in using Siemens STEP 7 and TIA Portal, as well as other relevant software applications.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work individually and within a team to complete projects within deadlines.
