About the Team
The e-commerce industry has seen tremendous growth in recent years and has become a hotly contested space amongst leading Internet companies, and its future growth cannot be underestimated. This role sits within the E-Commerce Governance and Experience team. This team is responsible for ensuring our marketplace is safe and trustworthy for not only users, but also sellers and creators. We value user experience and work on policies, rules, products and systems to ensure quality.

About the Role
We are looking for an experienced program manager to establish our Policy Performance oversight program in the region. The Policy Performance Team is responsible for building and monitoring oversight mechanisms to ensure that our policy and enforcement programs are performing as intended, and identifying opportunities to improve these programs in ways that advance user experience and the TikTok mission.

Responsibilities

• Performance Oversight: establish partnerships, metrics and dashboards required to understand the end-to-end performance of US governance programs, driving data-based insights, observations and action plans, and working with local governance teams to drive timely solutions.
• Project Management: drive strategic projects, develop project plans and roadmaps, manage cross-functional meetings and relationships.
• Process Management: Establish global collaboration processes that maximise speed and autonomy for regional teams, whilst maximising global harmonisation and oversight.

Qualifications
1. 3-5 years of project or program management, market research or business analysis experience in the e-commerce industry.
2. Good critical and logical thinking. Able to manage different types of projects through comprehensive planning, risk identifying, problem solving and SOP establishment.
3. Ability to conduct rigorous data-driven analysis and communicate conclusions to both technical and non-technical audiences.
4. Ability to lead without authority and influence cross-functional business decisions.
5. Highly adept at navigating cross-functional situations, managing broad stakeholder sets, and working autonomously.
6. Cross cultural communication and collaboration skills working cross functionally in a global working environment.
7. Proactive and driven, with a strong work ethic and ability to work independently in a fast-paced and ambiguous environment.

Job Information
The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $113777 - $206888 annually.

Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
