Our manufacturing company is seeking a skilled Press Operator to join our team. As a Press Operator, you will be responsible for setting up and operating printing presses, ensuring high-quality production, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment. This is a full-time position with competitive pay and benefits.
Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate printing presses to produce high-quality products according to specifications
- Monitor production to ensure that it meets quality standards and tolerances
- Perform routine maintenance on presses and equipment to ensure they are in good working condition
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with the press or production process
- Keep work area clean and organized to maintain a safe and efficient work environment
- Follow all safety procedures and guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries
- Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve production goals and meet customer demands
- Assist in changeovers and other tasks as needed to support production schedule
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably as a Press Operator
- Knowledge of printing press set up and operation
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Understanding of tolerances and quality control standards
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Willingness to work flexible hours as needed to meet production demands
- High school diploma or equivalent, technical training or certification is a plus
