TX190: 2501 West University, McKinney 2501 West University , McKinney, TX, 75070 USAThe Value Stream Lead role is expected oversee and coordinate the operational aspects of ongoing projects and services as liaison between the Operations Program Management team and Factory Management team. Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality and customer satisfaction goals and objectives.
Develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for interventions and problem solving with project managers, line managers and customers. Specific tasks include determining and reporting material coverage, establishing potential and actual material requirements based on factory demands, shop load analysis, factory execution, and EAC responsibilities.
The position will be expected to interact daily with functional and factory resources to ensure all program requirements are met, as well as, responsible for metrics tracking and development in support of the Factory and CMC Leadership.
The position also requires proposal HPU generation and support of new business using history, quotes, and as-likes.
This role is also expected to ensure that all supported contracts meet delivery schedule, cost and performance in accordance with the contract requirements called out by the varying Government and Commercial Customers.
The employee’s responsibilities would also include the introduction of improvements to the business for improved performance and metrics.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years hands-on program and/or project management experience, to include a combination of operations/ manufacturing, production operations, earned value management systems, cost and schedule tracking, EACs, risk and opportunity management.
- Candidate must have excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as the ability to communicate across the organization.
- Experience with manufacturing planning/scheduling, and lean manufacturing concepts.
- Must be proficient in and be able to perform material demand analysis, determine product build status
- Broad knowledge of production business systems, engineering, manufacturing, and financial systems is required.
- Experience with the implementation, management, planning, and engineering efforts associated with a manufacturing organization.
- Experience with MS Excel (VLookup, Pivot Tables, etc.)
- Experience leading proposal strategy, Basis of Estimate development and an understanding of business finance.
- Must be a US citizen as this position requires access to US only data systems.
Desired Qualifications
- Prior experience in a Defense related industry.
- Experience with Raytheon processes such as EACs, SAP and CMES/IMRO.
- A working knowledge of manufacturing metrics used to manage operations.
- Factory analysis and optimization skills.
Education Requirements: Typically requires: A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience
