Looking for a self-motivated individual with mechanical aptitude. A dreamer, who can visualize changes to existing products, and help create new ones that fit our sprayers, turf equipment, and refuse collection line up. A "gear head" if you will. The qualified individual will be able to take product ideas and sculpt them into prototypes using standard fabrication shop tools (shear, ironworker, drill press, press brake, lathe, mill, plasma cutter, and torch). Every day is a new challenge. This is not your standard run of the mill production shop job. You will be asked to take part in every aspect of the production development process, from figuring to fabricating - welding and occasionally paint and assemble your design.Must be able to work by yourself and with the engineering department, stay focused, fabricate and MIG weld, read a tape measure and blue prints, ,must be able to lift 50lbs, show up for work every work day and follow directions! Hours are Monday - Thursday 6:00am-4:30pm. Every weekend is 3 days, some holidays get you 4. Or possibly work our standard Monday - Friday 8:00am-5:00pm.
