As the Program Assistant for Wesley Acres, you will:

  • Assist the Director to assure the Center operates in accordance with all applicable regulations and Center-specific policies and procedures, chart review, risk management, strategic planning and budgeting
  • Work closely and cooperatively with participants, family members and Center team members to coordinate services that meet each participants individualized needs, collaborates on the development of care plans, and assists with actual activities of daily living when necessary.
  • Assist with admission and discharge follow-ups and create documents to aid in the accurate reporting of participant and employee information
  • Oversee the Child & Adult Care Food Program (CACFP) nutritional education and meal reimbursements and maintain accurate record keeping for that program
  • Support the program with completion of daily, weekly, monthly census, distribute monthly activity calendars and process weekly menu order
  • Handle other administrative tasks such as billing, mail processing and banking deposits

Experience

Required
  • Must have two year prior experience working with older adults
Preferred
  • One year prior experience working with frail elderly/disabled adults preferred.

Education

Preferred
  • High School or better
