SUMMARY

The Program Coordinator will provide program deliverable and deployment coordinator support related to Federal/Military security and infrastructure development for U.S. and International projects. *Please Note: This position is pending a contract award. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Includes the following:

  • Primary author of weekly and monthly report deliverables.
  • Ensure documentation is submitted on schedule and complies with program requirements.
  • Work with travel and program management team to coordinate on-site staff.
  • Provide ad-hoc administrative support to Program Management Office.
  • Manage Sharepoint document repository.
  • Assist with program schedule updates and perform weekly updates for inclusion in client deliverables.
  • Performs other job related duties as required.

SUPERVISORY/MANAGEMENT AUTHORITY

This position will not have supervisory authority.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

High school diploma or equivalent and three (3) years of office management experience in federal/military contract support OR a two-year college degree in Office Management, Business Administration, Electrical Engineering, Construction or related field. Former or current Military experience in Combat Arms, Force Protection, Antiterrorism, Police/Security highly desirable.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • Proficient in MS Project, MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint, and Visio.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • The ability to work in a fast-paced environment, maintain positive working relationships and work well individually under direct supervision, and as part of a team is also necessary.
  • Secret clearance
  • Ability to successfully pass a background check and drug screen.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Telecommuting benefit may be extended upon successful completion of 90-day introductory period. Domestic Travel required up to 25%.

Cherokee Federal has suspended it’s COVID mandate. Executive Order 14042 is currently not subject to enforcement by the Federal government.
