We are seeking a motivated Project Manager to join our Travelopia team in Toronto. This is a hybrid role requiring the successful candidate to be in the office 2-3 times per week.

Travelopia is going through a very exciting time focusing on additional technology project investments for our Travel brands in North America. The need for project management of major projects to control spending, project delivery, and manage the overall progress of the project is crucial to delivering the various brand roadmaps.

What you will be doing:

• Partner with Business Leads across brands to translate business strategy into a strategic technical roadmap, handle budgets and build a detailed prioritized backlog of user stories.
• Combine industry analysis, end-user feedback and development knowledge to deliver high quality products and projects.
• Develop budgets, manage vendor relationships and present status to business leadership.
• Work closely and use best practices with the delivery team to support backlog refinement, sprint planning, and long-term release planning.
• Serves as the scrum master or project manager for their delivery teams by enabling the team to self-organize, remove impediments and nurture an environment for high-performing team dynamics, continuous delivery, and improvement.
• Provide regular high-quality updates on development progress and future feature prioritization is well understood; produce comms for governance meetings.
• Support the development of training material for product teams and support teams with implementation planning.
• Ensure product dependencies on other product teams are well understood and briefed to relevant product managers.
• Work closely with stakeholders and ensure all partners are updated on a periodic basis.
