Mayhew Basque is looking to employ a self-motivated, hardworking individual to train and supervise employees in our Pry Bar Line.

Job Characteristics:

• Verifies open order reports using Macola

• Proficient in Microsoft Suite including Excel, Word and Outlook

• Coordinate with manufacturing and shipping department to fulfill customer orders.

• Provide daily work schedule for Pry Bar Department

• First Piece Sign off on all pry bar line jobs

• Reports any defects to our Quality Department

• Understands quality requirements

• Proper set up, maintenance and use of hydraulic and pneumatic press machines

• Keep accurate and detailed paperwork

• Processing of all shop packets

• Understands all labeling requirements

• Knowledge of all work centers

• Read and interpret shop prints

• Ability to use tape measure

• Knowledge of basic math

• Operate ShopVue computer to handle inventory

• Log information needed into computer

• Customer Communication regarding orders

• Able to use electric/manual lifts and pallet jacks to transport raw and finished materials

• Conduct Employee Performance reviews and resolve routine issues.

• Supervise and Train all employees hired for Pry Bar Line

• Submit daily production report to Basque Group

• Complete Employee Reviews – New Employees 30,60 and 90 days and Annual Reviews

For all employees under your supervision.

Required Skills

• Able to work with a team to accomplish company goals

• 3-5 Years of Computer Knowledge

• Strict attention to safety procedures and guidelines including wearing all personal protective equipment (PPE)

• Willingness to keep and maintain a clean and safe working environment

• Adherence to attendance policy

• Participate in training new employees when needed

Required Education/Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent

Preferred Education/Experience

• 3+ years of related experience

• Prior Supervisor experience

• Forklift license a plus
