PRODUCTION SUPPORT

  • Verify all raw materials have been issued to shop orders by formulation personnel
  • Check that receipts have been completed for every batch produced in the formulation department
  • Confirm proper ingredients have been used in each batch of the emulsion during the formulation process
  • Print and verify production labels required for raw material usage
  • Correct discrepancies on production tickets as required
  • Run daily production and labor reports
  • Run yield and labor report for any discrepancies
  • Maintain accurate inventory of raw materials, ingredients, packaging materials and finished goods. Order production supplies as needed
  • File and maintain departmental paperwork

TEAM MANAGEMENT SUPPORT

  • Provide support to production supervisor by fielding questions regarding employee concerns such as vacation available and attendance point balances
  • Maintain the attendance of employees and notify the supervisor when corrective action is required
  • Update department employee information board daily
  • Assist management in ensuring the hourly workforce is adhering to all food safety, quality, and GMP procedures
  • Provide training for backups IFS Users

REPORTING

  • Ensure all daily production data is correctly entered into the IFS database
  • Correct any missing/incorrect entries in the IFS system
  • Support IFS users, by serving as IFS Help Desk for employees and interacting with all shifts to support with IFS transactions
  • Assist production clerks to troubleshoot issues in IFS
  • Complete scrap transactions in a timely manner
  • Assist in the month-end, inventory process, making adjustment as needed
  • Scan documents to accounts payable to pay suppliers accurately and in a timely fashion

QUALIFICATIONS
Experience
Minimum 2 years of operational/manufacturing administrative experience
Must possess effective communication skills and be able to communicate production updates to managers and supervisors
Strong math and analytical skills
Ability to work flexible hours and overtime as needed

Education
High School or equivalent

Certifications
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite required. IFS, or similar ERP System, and Novacura transaction experience preferred

Travel
Local and/or overnight travel is required 10% of the time
