Description: Quality Analyst Stf- Greenville SC

Assist in development and overseeing of contract mandated Ground Operations Processes/Procedures (GOPs) IAW DCMAI 8210.1. Consultant and Subject Matter Expert (SME) to Greenville Site Operations on matters related Ground Operations Processes to include:
  • DCMAI 8210.1 and applicable Service Guidance
  • Aircraft Ground Handling
  • Foreign Object Damage (FOD) Prevention
  • Tool Control
  • Aircraft Ground Support Equipment
  • Training and Certification Requirements in support of GOPs
  • Safety
Will be part of a Ground Operations Quality team and will be seen as an authority in the development, management and surveillance of procedures. Utilizes audit tools and surveillance tactics to verify compliance with Ground Operations Procedures. Will act at times as the site interpreter of the Greenville GOPs processes during conflicts with procedures. Develops and assists with GOPs process compliance metrics and assigns corrective actions to responsible parties. Investigates GOPs incidents and reports findings and corrective measures to senior leadership. Assist in development and oversight of effective FOD Prevention plans by partnering with leadership, programs, program FOD Representatives, customer and supporting organizations. Establish FOD investigation and corrective actions guidance in support of the FOD program. Ensures Site readiness for GFR Surveys and/or AOI inspections.

Basic Qualifications:
  • Prior aircraft maintenance, production and flight line experience
  • At least 8 years of experience reading and comprehending blueprints, engineering specifications drawings, aircraft technical data and planning documents.
  • Prior experience with Aircraft production/flight operations
  • Fundamental knowledge of Quality principles and AS9100
  • Basic knowledge of formal root cause, corrective action and continuous improvement (RCCA, PDCA...etc)
  • Experience using Microsoft Office Tools such as
Excel, Power Point, and Project.

Desired Skills:
  • Required F-16 technical experience in Prod Ops or Quality.
  • Working knowledge of DCMAI 8210.1
  • Experience with Final Acceptance and Safety of Flight inspections on the F-16 Fighter or similar
military fighter jets
  • Experience performing surveillance activity and/or process surveillance.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and lead teams.
  • Excellent communication skills are desired.
  • Ability to work well in a diverse team environment.
  • Previous experience performing FOD and Final
Acceptance Inspections.
  • Working knowledge in F-16 tools such as QADS,
SFM, and AMS9000.
  • Experience using problem solving and root cause
corrective action (RCCA) methods and tools.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
