The right candidate will be comfortable with being on their feet most of the day, moving around the department & building, as well as lifting & moving boxes. They will be able to pay attention to detail to help the Quality Control Manager check all incoming shipments for missing product as well as outgoing shipments for completeness & accuracy. They will also be comfortable working on a computer to track activities in our internal software system.

What are some of the day-to day responsibilities?

• Assist the Quality Control Manager in quality control checking all orders entering & exiting the building
• Assist with accurately kitting all web orders & inventory fulfillment orders to prepare for shipping
• Responsible for pristine presentation and quick assembly of kitted packages for clients.
• Prepare completed orders for outbound shipment or direct delivery
• Ability to work within our internal software system as was as excel & outlook
• Prepare outbound 3rd party shipping through UPS or FedEx
• Responsible for controlling shipping costs & communicating with shipping vendors
• Run reporting as requested
• Responsible for maintaining a clean and orderly department that is committed to safe operation
• Reports to: Quality Control Manager
• Able to work within tight deadlines

Any and all other tasks as requested by your supervisor – we do our best to include a complete snapshot of the tasks that will be on your plate day-to-day but we also prioritize cross-training and growing current employees for other positions that may open.

Qualifications:

• Comfortable with data entry & working in excel/word/etc
• 1+ year in quality control
• 1+ year in shipping UPS and FedEx
• Comfortable with the physical demands of the position (lifting boxes, working in heat, on feet most of the day)
• Organized and committed to getting the job done every day regardless if we put together 10 client kits or 1,000.
• Accuracy in every aspect of your responsibilities
• Willing to learn and take direction
• Strong communication skills, working between the Production, Revenue and Processing departments
• Fanatic about safety
