Job description
Summary:
Southeast Industrial Equipment will use a Receptionist to handle all incoming calls within the branch. The job will be to accurately re-route all calls to the necessary department after finding out the needs of the telephone call.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
Begins and ends work at assigned times each day.
Receives inbound calls from SIE Customers, Vendors, Associates, general public, etc.
Answers calls with a pleasant and appreciative tone.
Identifies needs of caller and what department/person needs to handle the call.
Ensures call is transferred or communicated with needed associate in a timely manner.
Monitors incoming call traffic by department/priority to assist with staffing needs.
Calls all neglected customers on a daily basis to keep customers informed of down unit status.
Serves as backup for dispatch when as needed to handle overflow or cover for absences.
Assist Marketing and Event Planner with branch outings.
