$6,000 Sign-On Bonus for External Candidates
Full-Time 9am - 5:30pm
JOB DUTIES - The RN is responsible for managing and providing nursing care for the patient populations on the unit. This includes the immediate, short-term nursing care needs of patients as well as, planning for long-term needs. The RN must possess the skills necessary to assist the physician in a variety of endoscopic procedures, must minimize turnaround times between procedures, and follow established safety procedures. The KY Nurse Practice Act and established Hardin policies, procedures and standards of practice, determine the nurse’s scope of practice.
QUALIFICATIONS AND ACCOUNTABILITY -
Graduate of school of nursing with current unrestricted KY license required, or higher.
Basic Life Support (BLS) preferred on hire and required within 90 days of hire.
ACLS preferred upon hire, required within six months of hire.
CGRN preferred.
Two years recent experience in an acute care or outpatient surgery center preferred.
Requires good clinical, organizational, customer service and critical thinking skills.
Flexibility in work schedule, shift hours and job duties are required as well as basic computer skills.
