POSITION DESCRIPTION:
Applies engineering principles to research, analyze, plan, design, develop, implement, test, or evaluate systems for E-2D Advanced Hawkeye Naval Integrated Fire Control Test Support under the Integrated Warfare Test & Evaluation Support contract. Reviews and prepares engineering and technical analyses, reports, change proposals, and other technical documentation. This position applies engineering experience to perform functions such as system integration, design, configuration management, quality assurance testing, or acquisition and resource management.

DUTIES:
E-2D Advanced Hawkeye, Supports E-2D Naval Integrated Fire Control T&E. Knowledge and experience with integrated fire control systems (airborne or surface), related networks and data link is a critical element. Optimally, a person who is an expert in integrated fire control system of systems, radar and T&E; however, more emphasis can be placed on experience with integrated fire control and data link with the idea that a person could be taught test. Aircrew in particular carrier strike group or related prior military experience is well regarded. An appropriate degree is helpful, but the customer is willing to think out of the box and highly regards those with similar experience who are engaged in continuing education. Need for this is now! Reviews and prepares engineering and technical analyses, reports, change proposals, and other technical documentation.

Experience Requirements:
A minimum total of at least five years of professional engineering experience that has consisted of performing the foregoing engineering functions, and at least three years of the foregoing total experience shall have consisted of performing engineering functions with respect to support, research or development of mechanical, electrical, or aerospace systems.

Desired Experience:
  • At least two years of Test and Evaluation experience supporting NAVAIR programs.

Educational Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in an Engineering Discipline, Physics, or Math.

Security Requirements: Active Secret Clearance.
