We are seeking a
Staff Accountant for the Revenue Team. This is a Hybrid Remote position working both at home and in the office. We are seeking a candidate who demonstrates knowledge and experience in accounting, uses independence and judgement to recognize and resolve problems. An ideal candidate will be able to apply their strong excel skills and analytical thinking to improve the company’s procedures and process flows. This candidate should be very detail oriented, posses excellent organizational skills, and be able to demonstrate full ownership of their work.
Your Impact:
- Prepare revenue and accounts receivable journal entries, reconciliations, and internal controls for key accounts for monthly, quarterly and yearly close processes.
- Heavy involvement in billing cycle accounts, including ASC 606, accounts receivable, escheatment, refunds and voids, and warranty liabilities
- Assist with the monthly reporting
- Assist in the design and testing of new revenue reports
- Support the Revenue team with fulfillment of internal and external audits requirements
- Assist in integration of Legacy Acquisition
- Collaborate with the revenue team on completion of the month end close process
- Provide support on ad-hoc projects as required
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience in accounting
Preferred Requirements:
- Experience working in a public accounting firm or in a large, publicly traded company a plus.
- Revenue accounting experience a plus.
- Healthcare experience a plus.
- Month end close experience is a plus.
