Tykes and Tots Early Learning Centre Inc. is a multi-facility child care organization providing child care for over 500 families in the city of Saskatoon. Our early learning centres follow the principles of play and exploration. Our organization focuses on high quality staffing through an emphasis on professional development, competitive wages and benefits and a professional, supportive work environment.

We are currently hiring for our Before and After School Programs to start in September. This is a perfect opportunity for students attending post secondary education as students can work around their classes.

Our mission is to provide a nurturing environment for children to grow through educational play.

Required qualifications:

- Recent criminal record check with vulnerable sector search

- Knowledge of and ability to implement play and exploration an asset

- Proficient in English language skills

- Current First Aid and CPR preferred

In addition to the above Tykes and Tots will be looking for the following qualities in all applicants:

- Experience in the child care field

- Excellent communication skills

- Ability to manage conflict effectively

- Punctual, reliable and flexible

- Willingness and drive to work effectively in a team based environment

- Positive problem solving skills

- Competent computer skills

- Able to work in a variety of environments - from infant care to school age

- Reliable transportation
