***Position is Remote with 30% travel if you are local to Atlanta, GA or 50% travel if outside of Atlanta, GA. Relocation package is available if interested in relocating.***
Applied Resource Group is seeking a Senior Design Engineerfor one of our Cold Storage 3PL clients. This individual will provide their warehouse design and solution expertise in order to support the Design Team.
Responsibilities:
- Support proposals through rough facility design in AutoCAD 2D.
- Edit existing layouts to present updates or alterations for current facilities.
- Develop presentations to highlight how a proposed solution meets the needs and requirements for specific customers.
- Maintain a working knowledge of material handling systems, integrators, and suppliers for all projects.
- Coordinate with project management team for final solution implementation.
Qualifications:
- 4+ years of Project Related Design experience, with a background in Automation, 3PL Design, or Packaging
- 4+ years of experience utilizing AutoCAD 2D for Facility layout
- Ability to read and understand various blueprints and designs (Revit, FlexSIM, SolidWorks)
- Experience working within a structured project management environment
- Bachelors Degree is Required
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $85,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year
