Eaton’s NAS North American Sales division is currently seeking a Senior Distributor Sales Representative. Candidates must reside within 50 miles of our Fenton, MO location. Relocation assistance will be offered.
The expected annual salary range for this role is $75002.4 - $110003.52 a year. This position is also eligible for a variable incentive program.

What you’ll do:
The primary function of the Senior Distributor Sales Representative (DSR) is to manage and demonstrate strong knowledge of the assigned channel partners within the territory to increase sales in the local marketplace and provide sales and technical assistance. This position will be responsible for directly interfacing with distributors within their territory by providing a variety of sales support and administrative services in inventory management.

In this function you will:
- Manage a territory that is very dynamic in terms of distributor complexity, volume of locations and territory size
- Partner with regional channel director, sales engineers and sales manager/director on a territory channel strategy and plan each year; and effectively execute this plan against set targets
- Continuously support customer issue resolution
- Make recommendations to management and channel director to increase effectiveness of initiatives and programs
- Track and measure distributor growth using sales reporting tools and reviews stock levels with each channel partner on an on-going basis.
- Strategically evaluate and optimize inventory at assigned distributors to ensure adequate levels of standard control and DE products to maximize sales
- Make recommendations on product changes, layout changes and stock levels to optimize Eaton's position
- Independently develop and implements action plans targeted at YOY growth and agreed performance levels
- Make recommendations to management and channel director regarding potential challenges or issues on a case-by-case basis, offering solutions and pro-actively scheduling joint sales calls
- Train distributors on how to use internal programs such as Order Center, Bidmanager, and the Commitments program

Qualifications:
Required (Basic) Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
- Minimum of three (3) years in a commercial assignment and one (1) year in a Distributor Sales Representative (DSR) function OR a minimum of three (3) years of experience in an outside sales role with distributor responsibility
- Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and within the future
Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong electrical industry and product knowledge
- Distribution knowledge and/or experience
- Strong product line knowledge
- Strong key channel relationships and demonstrates knowledge of major accounts within the sales territory
- Understands sales process and channel relationships with limited internal oversight
