Senior Financial Analyst

Dallas, TX - Hybrid (3 days)

$80k-$90k + bonus

One of Vaco's fastest growing consumer brand clients is looking to add a Senior Financial Analyst to their finance team. This person will be the sole POC over one of their revenue streams ($50-75M annually) regarding everything finance - budgeting, forecasting, and tons of modeling (building from scratch, not just updating fleshed out processes or clean templates.)

Their facilities are brand new and feature a "modern-rustic" office space attached to a high-tech distribution center. Culture is aligned with more of a laid-back, outgoing "start-up" type environment (jeans and t-shirts, and on gamedays, jerseys) where they routinely tailgate for Rangers games outside of the showroom.

Responsibilities:

• Support the consolidated annual budgeting process and quarterly forecasting process
• Develop annual budgets and business plans and present to executive management, satisfying all FP&A and Accounting requirements
• Develop and present monthly summary financial reports as needed
• Develop the financial pieces for board presentations and develop ad hoc management reports.
• Prepare quarterly competitor analysis
• Design and develop enhanced forecasting models and tools using Hyperion Planning/Smartview
• Evaluate financial models and analyses for use in the development of business strategies and subsequent analyses of results
• Ad Hoc Projects

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of financial analysis experience
• Bachelor's degree in Finance or related field, MBA is a plus
• Advanced Excel required and major ERP preferred
• Experience in the real estate industry
• Thorough understanding of P&L, financial analysis and business trends
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work on an evolving team with adaptability and problem solving
