WHO we’re looking for:

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer - Cloud who will be responsible for building secure cloud services for users of the world's best-selling mobile devices. The B2B Cloud Services Team is focused on the rapid development of cloud based end-to-end mobile applications and services. As a member of the B2B Cloud Services Team you will help us define and develop the future role of smartphones and services.

Cloud services is a technology innovation group focused on the rapid development of cloud based end-to-end mobile applications and services. This is an exciting area for the client's Cloud based service platforms and infrastructure to support mobility.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Implement, maintain and evolve cloud-based products and services.
• Integrate with external customer and 3rd-party systems.
• Perform extensive research and analysis to make optimal architecture and design decisions.
• Analyze and improve security for Cloud application, provide expert guidance to Engineers on security.
• Interface with other groups including Product Management, QA and Operations.
• Create quick proof-of-concept prototype.

Required Experience and Education:

• 5+ years of hands-on full-cycle software development experience
• BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent experience
• Hands-on experience developing cloud applications in Java for highly available distributed systems.
• Hands-on experience with Spring Boot and REST API development.
• Hands-on experience with Kafka and MongoDB.
• Hands-on experience writing data model and doing optimization for Mongo DB.
• Strong computer science fundamentals in data structures, algorithm design, and complexity analysis.
• Good knowledge of messaging or event streaming systems.
• Experience or knowledge in data engineering is a plus.

• Detail-oriented with strong organization skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Limited supervision and the exercise of discretion.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80.00 - $92.00 per hour
