Job description
We are passionate about building great software and looking for like-minded individuals who share this passion and who are continuously looking to learn and grow. You will be responsible for defining and implementing medium and long term architecture of customer facing portals and backend services across various businesses to improve engineering agility. You will define an engineering strategy and roadmap to migrate from the existing system to the new system that you will define. You will lead this initiative and drive it to completion during execution.
What You will Do:
- Design and develop features on customer facing user-interfaces
- Review peer engineers’ designs and codeIdentify and establish better engineering practices that can help improve code quality and agility
- Support customer-facing portal in production
- Help educate and guide junior members of the team with engineering & front-end development
- Build infrastructure to improve release agility and quality (e.g. test infrastructure, better instrumentation/monitoring)
What We are Looking For:
- Bachelor degree in Computer Science and 6+ years of development experience
- Masters degree in Computer Science and 4+ years of development experience
- Experience developing production quality user-interfaces in React, Redux, Angular, SASS, webpack, jest, etc.
- The ability and willingness to take complete ownership over a feature or entire project and drive it to completion

- Ability to work full-stack (comfortable switching between the front and back-end)Restful API design and implementationWorking knowledge in Python or Java
