Are you right for us? (Job Description)
We are looking for reliable technicians who are dedicated to providing exceptional service to customers. We are open to work with call-to-schedule, part-time, contract technicians. You must have good availability, be responsive, and able to provide a minimum 48-hour turnaround or sooner. Experience is preferred but not necessary. Training is provided. This position is part-time with the goal to expand into a full time position.
Salary:
-This is a 1099-contractor position, with the goal of expanding into a full-time position.
-Starting pay: $20-$30/hr
Responsibilities:
-Install and service smart home security technology in customer homes and business from alarm.com compatible systems
-Install smart home security technology from Ring, Google, Amazon Alexa, etc.
-Ensured on-time arrival, daily, for customer appointments
-Install, test, and service data cables such as Cat 5, Cat 5e, Cat6, Coax, and Siamese Cables
-Install, test, and service IP and Video security cameras to NVR, DVR, and Cloud-based devices
-Mount televisions and conceal wires to ensure a seamless viewing experience for customers
-Install Home Theater systems and ensure their connectivity for a properly functioning system
-Responsible for installing, setting up, and testing equipment
-Responsible for educating customer on equipment
-Responsible for uninstalling equipment (when required)
-Clean up debris from installation, patch drill holes, when applicable
Must Have:
-Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record
-Pass a background check
-Ability to work flexible hours
-Your own smart phone or tablet (phone usage reimbursement)
-Your own transportation (gas reimbursement monthly)
-Your own tools
