About the Role:
We are currently seeking a dynamic Software Developer to join our team. As a Software Developer you will build and support a suite of applications written in a variety of Microsoft .NET (framework) technologies. The Software Developer uses their knowledge to analyze code and formulate more efficient processes to support our internal and external business methods.
What You’ll Do:
- Update/maintain and enhance our back-end systems to meet internal and client driven requirements
- Execute on the continuous improvement of our back end systems
- Ensure the quality and performance of delivered solutions
- Work with a variety of stake holders with different technology backgrounds
- Find ways to build reusable code and libraries for current and future use
- Keep the storyboards up to date (Jira) and be willing to write your own stories and work with others to refine them
- Adhere to project deliverables and timelines. Provide clear and concise communication of changes or disruptions to the schedule with a focus on expectation alignment.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team of Back-End Developers, Project Managers and System Administrators
About You:
- Ability and desire to work on a very diverse application portfolio using a variety of Microsoft technologies
- Good understanding of any source code management system (Git/TFS/etc.)
- Be a quick start, great debugger / troubleshooter with a strong ability and desire to find root causes, performance problems and integration issues
- Ability to develop features and improvements with minimal guidance and support from other team members
- Self-motivated and self-managing, with excellent organizational skills
- Ability and desire to work on a very diverse application portfolio using a variety of Microsoft
Qualifications and Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience with c#/VB.net using Microsoft .net Framework 4.x developing back-end systems
