Summer Camp- Class Assistant
AlphaBEST: Summer is where adventure begins!
At AlphaBEST, our students are filled with curiosity and wonder! As their guide, you'll lead them through fun learning activities, with plenty of support and training.
Location: Grandview Elementary, Windsor CO
Schedule: Monday-Friday, No Weekends! Part-time, shifts begin late morning/early afternoon. Summer Camp will run from May 30 - July 28.
Pay & Benefits:
- $14.00-15.00 per hour (DOE)
- Deep discounts on program tuition- bring your school-age child to camp for $10 per week
In this exciting role, you'll be trained and have the opportunity to do the following:
- Provide supervision to a group of 25 children in all spaces and throughout transitions
- Help support the Class Lead with behavior management and positive incentive programs
- Communicate any/all concerns with Class Lead
- Lead programming and activities
- Communicate any/all concerns with Camp Director
- Assist the Class Lead to ensure that your group adheres to the daily schedule, arriving at activities on time, and cleaning up in a timely manner
Here's what you will need:
- Experience leading a group of children is preferred
- Ability to communicate effectively with both children and adults
- Must be able to successfully complete background checks as required by CO childcare licensing regulations
