Our Talent Acquisition and Development Specialist will research, develop and implement effective recruiting and staffing strategies to attract and develop a diverse pool of qualified and capable talent and vendors for the organization. Your focus will be on recruiting employees, subcontractors and specialty vendors that will help us to grow and continue to offer Legendary service to our varied customer base. You will identify qualified candidates through various recruiting and sourcing tools and activities. We are seeking a take charge person who will thrive in a creative environment to accomplish company objectives. You will work closely with department hiring managers and company executive leadership to grow the business through strategic acquisition of employees, subcontractors and vendors. Your outgoing personality, accomplished communications skills and creative ability to present organizational messages to a variety of targets will make you a successful “Talent Acquisition and Development Specialist” for ServiceMaster of Greater Pittsburgh.

What we do:
Through our 4 service divisions we provide retail specialty services to residential and commercial clients; emergency water, fire and smoke restoration to a wide variety of clients local and regional, we provide complete repair and reconstruction services as well as environmental and hurricane and national response to catastrophic events.
We provide highly sought after specialty cleaning and property restoration services to a wide range of customers who have come to respect the ServiceMaster of Greater Pittsburgh brand. We are a leading franchisee in the ServiceMaster network that has allowed us to service customers nationwide.
We provide emergency property restoration and reconstruction services to residential, commercial and institutional clients in the western Pennsylvania area and beyond. Our service teams operate in a similar manner to a hospital emergency room in providing a wide variety of services to damaged or injured property in an emergency. Our customers are leading insurance companies, property management companies as well as local hospitals, colleges and venues. Our staff provides expert guidance to those who experience unplanned and unexpected property damage. We provide expert drying of buildings after flooding and water damage, detailed cleaning, sanitizing and deodorization after fire and smoke damage as well as comprehensive repair and reconstruction services . General Description of Responsibilities:
v Ensure that employee, subcontractor and vendor needs are being met with a long term strategy in mind
v Devise and implement sourcing strategies to build pipelines for potential additions to our team
v Form close relationships with hiring managers to ensure clear expectations of needs and requirements for new additions.
v Create and maintain current job solicitations, job descriptions and interview criteria to identify best candidates for addition to our team
v Organize and attend job fairs, recruiting events and special presentations to build a strong candidate pipeline.
v Prescreen candidates to determine if they meet requirements and a line with ServiceMaster of Greater Pittsburgh Culture
v Co-ordinate interviews with hiring managers and follow up on the interview process.
v Work with department managers to implement and oversee employee development and career path programs
v Maintain relationships internally with our existing team as well as external networking relationships to ensure resource goals are met.
v Participate in management team meetings to communicate and integrate recruiting strategies throughout the company
v Participate in the onboarding process for new employees, vendors, and sub-contractors.
v Other special duties and projects as assigned relative to position overall goals.

Required skills and qualifications.
Ø Bachelor’s degree preferred, high school or GED required
Ø Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ø Ability to create and implement sourcing strategies for recruitment for a variety of roles, positions and needs for the company.
Ø Outgoing, people focused, personality and accomplished communication skills with the ability to present organizational messages and goals in a concise, effective and professional manner.
Ø Proactive and independent “self-starter” with the ability to take initiative to meet assigned goals.
Ø Presentation and public speaking skills are needed.
Ø Proficiency in Microsoft office(Word, Excel, PowerPoint) with ability to learn and use recruiting software
Ø Ability to help create and oversee a comprehensive strategy to develop and retain diverse workforce through execution of company strategy of ongoing employee interaction and follow up
Ø Ability to successfully use social media to promote our recruiting strategies.
Preferred skills and qualifications
Ø Customer focused sales related experience.
Ø Familiarity with laws, regulations and best practices applicable to hiring and recruitment.
Ø Creative and innovative personality to create and implement sourcing strategies for recruitment for a variety of roles within the company.
Ø Proficiency with social media, on line and professional networks such as LinkedIn Talent Solutions to pro-actively source candidates
Ø Relevant recruiting or team development experience in “Service” related business
