Altabank, the largest community bank in Utah, is hiring for Talent Recruiter. The ideal candidate will partner with the Human Resources Director to develop, lead, and implement talent acquisition strategies ultimately leading to timely, quality hires. This position is accountable for creating diverse talent pipelines for current and future needs while incorporating the organization’s culture.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Partners with Hiring Managers to identify current and future staffing needs
- Consults with management to ensure job descriptions accurately portray job specifications, job duties, qualifications, and skills
- Creating and managing job postings through internal career page and job posting sites
- Sources potential and passive candidates through job postings, direct channels, social media, internet sourcing, and networking events
- Generates candidate interest through creative marketing and social media messaging
- Coordinates with hiring manager on sourcing, screening, and interviewing candidates
- Provides timely, relevant, and accurate feedback to internal and external candidates as well as hiring managers
- Builds relationships with local colleges and participates in Career Fairs and college recruiting efforts
- Coordinates with hiring managers to participate in other local job fairs, business expos, veterans and diversity events
- Develop and implement internship program with various business lines
- Demonstrates high degree of professionalism in communication, attitude and teamwork with customers, peers, and management
- Demonstrates high level of quality work and attendance
- Additional duties as assigned as it relates to the position
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Associates or Bachelor’s Degree preferred or equivalent job experience
- 1-3 years recruiting experience in an agency or corporate environment preferred
- Experience in retail recruiting, banking or financial services preferred
- Knowledge of state and federal laws/regulations related to employment and general personnel practices
- Previous experience building talent pipelines using social media, relationship building, and networking
- Strong knowledge of behavioral based interviewing techniques
- Proven experience working with all levels of the organization up to and including executive leadership
- Strong follow up skills
- Advanced computer skills, including Windows, Excel, Word, and Outlook and applicant tracking systems
- Strong problem solving and attention to detail skill
SCHEDULE: Monday-Friday 8:00-5:00.
Based out of the American Fork Office.

Must be able to work extended hours or travel off site whenever required or requested by management. Must be capable of regular, reliable and timely attendance. Must be capable of climbing / descending stairs in an emergency situation.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include: The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading; visual inspection involving small defects, small parts, and/or operation/inspection of machines and/or using measurement devices at distances close to the eyes.
